Aww yeah!
Can’t wait for November 15.
State of the Static
Since I haven’t done any significant updates on this blog for a bit, here is some stuff thats been happening.
It’s been about two weeks since school started. The only class I really enjoy is computer programming (even though we are learning C#).
As, you may know I now have a decent PC which I can actually play some games on, so I’ve been doing just that. Here are some of the games I’ve been playing:
- Assassin’s Creed : Brotherhood - I’m done the story, I just want to get 100% completion before Revelations comes out.
- Red Orchestra 2 - Heroes of Stalingrad - one of the hardest FPS games I’ve played
- Metro 2033 - Honestly I’m just playing this to test my PC. Basically Fallout 3 on steroids.
- Just Cause 2 - I really liked the first one, the sequel is even better.
- Dead Island - I don’t really like this game for various reasons, I may play it more when I’m bored of other games.
- Team Fortress 2 - Absolutely love this game, my favorite classes being : Pyro, Engineer
If anyone wants to play some TF2 with me, add me on Steam - staticsafe2
I also got back into reading more, and one of the books I decided to read (on a whim) was The Monkeyface Chronicles by Richard Scarsbrook. Picked it up from the school library during my spare and I couldn’t put it down. In fact, I finished it the very same day. The book is really nicely written with a very interesting ending. I’m planning on reading more this year.
In other news, I’ve been donating my spare GPU power to folding@home. My team can be found here. I would encourage others to do the same if you have the CPU/GPU power to spare.
That is all for this post. Hopefully I will be posting more regularly, insofar as time allows.
So this my new desktop build. Pretty awesome.
P.S - I don’t actually have a optical drive, the one showing is just a virtual drive created by DAEMON Tools.
Damn..
