Enable Windows 7 Check Boxes

Often when we are selecting a lot of files/folders using the Ctrl-Click method we tend to make mistakes and lose our selections. There is a way of selecting files/folders using check boxes. This setting is hidden in the Windows Control Panel.

Let’s activate this function:

First go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View

Select this option:

Click Apply.

Voila! We now have check boxes that allow us to select files/folders.

Enjoy!
