Simple way to hide a file!
WARNING - Before I start, I must tell you that you should not do this on your main hard drive, as the folder cannot be renamed or deleted. Use a empty flash drive instead, which can be formatted later.
- Create a new folder.
- Rename the folder like this - hold the Alt key and then press 255 on the NUM pad.
- You will see that now there will be an empty spot where the folder name is supposed to be.
- Now to truly make this folder hidden, right-click on the folder - go to Properties.
- Click on Customize -> Change icon.
- Choose one of the blank icons.
