Google launches public DNS service

Today, Google has launched a public DNS service of their own similar to the service provided by OpenDNS which I currently use.

The settings and more can be found [here].

If you don’t like clicking links:

8.8.8.8
or
8.8.4.4

I have added one of them as an alternate DNS server for my router.

And for Linksys routers, make sure you restart the router after you add the DNS servers for the changes to take effect.
