It’s snowing!
Due to the lack of snow here in Toronto (it’s been raining here!) I have decided to make my blog snow!
With some Javascript magic, there will be snow falling across the browser screen when you open my blog.
Computer slowdown issues:
- I have decreased the amount of snow particles and how long they stay on the screen for.
- Disabled snow sticking to the “ground”
There should be no computer slowdowns unless you’ve got a really crappy computer.
If you know that your computer shouldn’t be slowing down, just comment on this post.
Browsers:
- Javascript tested on: Firefox, Chrome, Safari
- Will work in Opera as well.
- May possibly slow down if you use Internet Explorer (HINT - get yourself a better browser)
Oh, and the snow has a “wind” effect; try moving your mouse left and right.
