Crunchbang Linux "Statler" Alpha 1
Crunchbang Linux “Statler” Alpha 1 using the Openbox DE. Openbox is so awesome. It’s one of the most minimalistic DEs I’ve ever seen.. Oh, as you’ve probably noticed by the wallpaper, Crunchbang has switched their sources to Debian (they were using Ubuntu before).

I have used it for a long time now, but the Transmission web interface is one of the most beautiful web interfaces I’ve ever seen for a BitTorrent client. It definitely destroys ruTorrent.

The only issue I had was with friendship sharing settings, fixed that.

Arch install
Whew! Finally managed to do a successful install of Arch Linux with the XFCE desktop environment in Virtual Box. Screenshot: (Click to enlarge) Thank’s a lot to platnumX and his awesome video tutorial which helped me through the whole thing.

So it's done..
It has been done. I have just erased my Windows partition, and resized it. Goodbye Windows (at least on my main PC). We’ve had a good run since Windows ME, but it’s time for change. If you are curious, I’m running Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx.)
